Abba ab´a (ἀββᾶ,אבּא , 'abbā), Hebraic-Chaldaic, “Father”): In Jewish and old-Christian prayers, a name by which God was addressed, then in oriental churches a title of bishops and patriarchs. So Jesus addresses God in prayer (Mat_11:25, Mat_11:26; Mat_26:39, Mat_26:42; Luk_10:21; Luk_22:42; Luk_23:34; Joh_11:41; Joh_12:27; Joh_17:24, Joh_17:25). In Mar_14:36; Rom_8:15, and Gal_4:6 ὁ πατήρ, ho patḗr, is appended even in direct address, in an emphatic sense. Servants were not permitted to use the appellation in addressing the head of the house. See Delitzsch on Rom_8:15; compare G. Dalman, Gram. des jüd.-palast. Aramaisch, etc., section 40, c. 3.

On this day in 1980, American oil tycoon Armand Hammer pays $5,126,000 at auction for a notebook containing writings by the legendary artist Leonardo da Vinci. The manuscript, written around 1508, was one of some 30 similar books da Vinci produced during his lifetime on a variety of subjects. It contained 72 loose pages featuring some 300 notes and detailed drawings, all relating to the common theme of water and how it moved. Experts have said that da Vinci drew on it to paint the background of his masterwork, the Mona Lisa. The text, written in brown ink and chalk, read from right to left, an example of da Vinci's favored mirror-writing technique. The painter Giuseppi Ghezzi discovered the notebook in 1690 in a chest of papers belonging to Guglielmo della Porto, a 16th-century Milanese sculptor who had studied Leonardo's work. In 1717, Thomas Coke, the first earl of Leicester, bought the manuscript and installed it among his impressive collection of art at his family estate in England. More than two centuries later, the notebook--by now known as the Leicester Codex--showed up on the auction block at Christie's in London when the current Lord Coke was forced to sell it to cover inheritance taxes on the estate and art collection. In the days before the sale, art experts and the press speculated that the notebook would go for $7 to $20 million. In fact, the bidding started at $1.4 million and lasted less than two minutes, as Hammer and at least two or three other bidders competed to raise the price $100,000 at a time. The $5.12 million price tag was the highest ever paid for a manuscript at that time; a copy of the legendary Gutenberg Bible had gone for only $2 million in 1978. "I’m very happy with the price. I expected to pay more," Hammer said later. "There is no work of art in the world I wanted more than this." Lord Coke, on the other hand, was only "reasonably happy" with the sale; he claimed the proceeds would not be sufficient to cover the taxes he owed. Hammer, the president of Occidental Petroleum Corporation, renamed his prize the Hammer Codex and added it to his valuable collection of art. When Hammer died in 1990, he left the notebook and other works to the Armand Hammer Museum of Art and Cultural Center at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Several years later, the museum offered the manuscript for sale, claiming it was forced to take this action to cover legal costs incurred when the niece and sole heir of Hammer's late wife, Frances, sued the estate claiming Hammer had cheated Frances out of her rightful share of his fortune. On November 11, 1994, the Hammer Codex was sold to an anonymous bidder--soon identified as Bill Gates, the billionaire founder of Microsoft--at a New York auction for a new record high price of $30.8 million. Gates restored the title of Leicester Codex and has since loaned the manuscript to a number of museums for public display.

Zep 1:7-13 Notice is here given to Judah and Jerusalem that God is coming forth against them, and will be with them shortly; his presence, as a just avenger, his day, the day of his judgment and his wrath, are not far off, Zep_1:7. Those that improve not the presence of God with them as a Father, but sin away that presence, may expect his presence with them as a Judge, to call them to an account for the contempt put upon his grace. The day of the Lord will come. Men have their day now, when they take a liberty to do what they please; but God's day is at hand; it is here called his sacrifice, a sacrifice of his preparing, for the punishing of presumptuous sinners is a sacrifice to the justice of God, some reparation to his injured honour. Those that brought their offerings to other gods were themselves justly made victims to the true God. On a day of sacrifice great slaughter was made; so shall there be in Jerusalem; men shall be killed up as fast as lambs for the altar, with as little regret, with as much pleasure: The slain of the Lord shall be many. On a day of sacrifice great feasts were made upon the sacrifices; so the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem shall be feasted upon by their enemies the Chaldeans; these are the guests God has prepared and invited to come and glut themselves - their revenge with slaughter and their covetousness with plunder. Now observe, I. Who those are that are marked to be sacrificed, that shall be visited and punished in this day of reckoning, and what it is they shall be called to an account for. 1. The royal family, because of the dignity of their place, shall be first reckoned with for their pride, and vanity, and affectation (Zep_1:8): I will punish the princes, and the king's children, who think themselves accountable to God, and that, high as they are, he is above them. They shall be punished, and all such as, like them, are clothed with strange apparel, such as, in contempt of their own country (where, probably, it was the custom to go in a very plain dress, as became the seed of Jacob that plain man), affected to appear in the fashion of other nations and introduced their modes in apparel, studying to resemble those from whom God had appointed them, even in their clothes, industriously to distinguish themselves. The princes and the king's children scorned to wear any home-made stuffs, though God had provided them fine linen and silks (Eze_16:10), but they must send abroad to strange countries for their clothes, which would not please unless they were far-fetched and dear-bought; and even those of inferior rank affected to imitate the princes and the king's children. Pride in apparel is displeasing to God, and a symptom of the degeneracy of a people. 2. The noblemen, and their stewards and servants, come next to be reckoned with (Zep_1:9): In the same day will I punish those that leap on the threshold, a phrase, no doubt, well understood then, and which probably signified the invading of their neighbour's rights. Entering their houses by force and violence, and seizing their possessions, they leap on the threshold, as much as to say that the house is their own and they will keep their hold of it; and, accordingly, they make all in it their own that they can lay their hands on, and so fill their masters' houses with goods gotten by violence and deceit and with all the guilt thereby contracted. Nor shall it suffice them to say that the ill-gotten gains were not for themselves but for their masters, and that what they did was by their order; for the obligations we lie under to keep God's commandments are prior and superior to the obligations we lie under to serve the interests of any master on earth. 3. The trading people, and the rich merchants, are next called to account. Iniquity is found in their end of the town, among the inhabitants of Maktesh, a low part of Jerusalem, deep like a mortar (for so the word signifies); the goldsmiths lived there (Neh_3:32) and the merchants; and they are now cut down (they are broken, and have shut up their shops, and become bankrupts); nay, All those that bear silver are cut off, in the first place, by the invaders, for the sake of the silver they carry, which is so far from being a protection to them that it will expose and betray them. The conquerors aimed at the wealthy men, and carried them off first, while the poor of the land escaped. Or it may be meant of a general decay of trade, which was a preface and introduction to the general destruction of the land. It is the token of a declining state when great dealers are cut down, and great bankers are cut off and become bankrupts, who cannot fall alone, but with themselves ruin many. 4. All the secure and careless people, the sons of pleasure, that live a loose idle life, are next reckoned with (Zep_1:12); they come from all parts of the country, to take up their quarters in the head-quarters of the kingdom, where they take private lodgings, and indulge themselves in ease and luxury; but God will find them out, and punish them: At that time I will search Jerusalem with candles, to discover them, that they may be brought out to condign punishment. This intimates that they conceal themselves, as being either ashamed of the sin or afraid of the punishment of it; when the judgments of God are abroad they hope to escape by absconding and getting out of the way, but God will search Jerusalem, as search is made for a malefactor in disguise, that is harboured by his accomplices. God's hand will find out all his enemies, wherever they lie hid, and will punish not only the secret idolaters, but the secret epicures and profane; and those are the persons that are here described, and marks are given by which they will be discovered when strict search is made for them. (1.) Their dispositions are sensual: They are settled on their lees, intoxicated with their pleasures, strengthening themselves in their wealth and wickedness; they are secure and easy, and, because they have had no changes, they fear none, as Moab, Jer_48:11. They have not been emptied from vessel to vessel. They fill themselves with wine and strong drink, and banish all thought, saying, Tomorrow shall be as this day, Isa_56:12. Their being settled on their lees signifies the same with being enclosed in their own fat, Psa_17:10. (2.) Their notions are atheistical. They could not live such loose lives but that they say in their heart, The Lord will not do good, neither will he do evil; that is, He will do nothing. They deny his providential government of the world: “What good and evil there is in the world comes by the wheel of fortune, and not by the disposal of a wise and supreme director.” They deny his moral government, and his dispensing rewards and punishments: “The Lord will not do good to those that serve him, nor do evil to those that rebel against him; and therefore there is nothing got by religion, nor lost by sin.” This was the effect of their sensuality; if they were not drowned in sense, they could not be thus senseless, nor could they be so stupid if they had not stupefied themselves with the love of pleasure. It was also the cause of their sensuality; men would not make a god of their belly if they had not at first become so vain, so vile, in their imaginations, as to think the God that made them altogether such a one as themselves. But God will punish them; their end is destruction, Phi_3:19. II. What the destruction will be with which God will punish these sinners, and what course he will take with them. 1. He will silence them (Zep_1:7): Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord. He will force them to hold their peace, will strike them dumb with horror and amazement. They shall be speechless. All the excuses of their sin, and exceptions against the sentence, will be overruled, and they shall not have a word to say for themselves. 2. He will sacrifice them, for it is the day of the Lord's sacrifice (Zep_1:8); he will give them into the hands of their enemies, and glorify himself thereby. 3. He will fill both city and country with lamentation (Zep_1:10): In that day there shall be a noise of a cry from the fish-gate, so called because near either to the fish-ponds or to the fish-market. It belonged to the city of David (2Ch_33:14; Neh_3:3); perhaps the same with that which is called the first gate (Zec_14:10), and, if so, it will explain what follows here, And a howling from the second, that is, the second gate, which was next to that fish-gate. The alarm shall go round the walls of Jerusalem from gate to gate; and there shall be a great crashing from the hills, a mighty noise from the mountains round about Jerusalem, from the acclamations of the victorious invaders, or from the lamentations of the timorous invaded, or from both. The inhabitants of the city, even of the closest safest part of the city, shall howl (Zep_1:11), so clamorous shall the grief be. 4. They shall be stripped of all they have; it shall be a prey to the enemy (Zep_1:13): Their household goods, and shop-goods, shall become a booty, and a rich booty they shall be; their houses shall be levelled with the ground and be a desolation; those of them that have built new houses shall not inherit them, but the invaders shall get and keep possession of them. And the vineyards they have planted they shall not drink the wine of, but, instead of having it for the relief of their friends that faint among them, they shall part with it for the animating of their foes that fight against them, Deu_28:30.

She may have been talking to Her taught ones directly—and not to the crowds—when She said this. It was not until after Yashayahnah died, was buried, and was resurrected that Her taught ones first believed—really believed! Later on, Shim'on Kepha and Yohanan ran pell-mell to the grave where Yashayahnah had been interred. Shim'on Kepha goes in. He looks and sees everything there—except Yashayahnah. Yohanan peers in the doorway, and the Good News says, "And then this taught one believed." Yohanan was the first to believe. It took seeing the grave clothes folded up neatly in the sepulchre and no body of Yashayahnah Messiah in sight for him to finally get it. That act fulfills this little prophecy of Yashayahnah: "Then you will know." What momentous events they had just experienced—and they did not understand and believe. They did not really believe when She came into Yerushalayim and was lauded by all the people, exactly fulfilling the prophecy of Zechariah. They did not see it when She gave the Last Supper, changing the symbols. They did not recognize it when one of their own betrayed Her with a kiss. He even gave the sop directly to Yudas of Iscariot after Yohanan had asked Her, "Which one of these is it going to be?" He saw it go from Yashayahnah's hand to Judas' hand or into his mouth. The fulfillment was just a few minutes away from Her utterance, and they still did not believe! They still failed to see how it was all coming together. Of course, there was the lmpalement. How many prophecies were fulfilled in the impalement, in Her burial? And they still did not believe! The three days went by and still no belief. They had Elohim-in-the-flesh leading them through all these prophecies, and they still did not get it—until that point when comprehension dawned on Yohanan. It is arrogant and puffed up of us to think that we have prophecy figured out. In many cases, we do not have the mind even of the taught ones. We do not have the teaching from the very mouth of Elohim as the taught ones had. Of course, they were not converted at the time. But if they could not get it, seeing these things happening right before their eyes, will we be able to see prophecy working out in our time any more clearly? Are we so much more advanced? We can know the possibilities, but we cannot be certain of the exact progress and timing of prophetic events. Until the prophecy is fulfilled, we should not be dogmatic. We must always approach these things with humility. Because we are clay in the Potter's hand, She gives us what we need to know. And, in many cases, what we think we need to know is not really "need to know" until after it has already happened. Elohim has Their own way, and They are working out Their purpose. Aaron's Rod (Num_17:1-13 and Heb_9:4): Immediately after the incidents connected with the rebellion of Korah, Dathan and Abiram against the leadership of Moses and the priestly primacy of Aaron (Nu 16), it became necessary to indicate and emphasize the Divine appointment of Aaron. Therefore, at the command of Yahweh, Moses directs that twelve almond rods, one for each tribe with the prince's name engraved thereon, be placed within the Tent of the Testimony. When Moses entered the tent the following day, he found that Aaron's rod had budded, blossomed and borne fruit, “the three stages of vegetable life being thus simultaneously visible.” When the miraculous sign was seen by the people, they accepted it as final; nor was there ever again any question of Aaron's priestly right. The rod was kept “before the testimony” in the sanctuary ever after as a token of the Divine will (Num_17:10). The writer of Hebrews, probably following a later Jewish tradition, mentions the rod as kept in the Holy of Holies within the ark

Joh 3:16 “For Elohim so loved the world that He gave His only brought-forth Descendant, so that everyone who believes in Her should not perish but possess everlasting life. What is the answer to this proverb -- Pro 30:4 Who has gone up to the heavens and come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name, And what is His Descendant’s Name, If you know it? The Answer Is Our Father Yeshayahna and his Descendant Our Messiah Yashayahnah

The Father Said to us "And in all that I have said to you take heed. And make no mention of the name of other mighty ones, let it not be heard from your mouth". We live in a multicultural land where our Ancestors worshiped and recognized many mighty ones and their names surround us everywhere we look. Please try to avoid the names of mighty ones as best we can.

When we esteem others we are taking away from esteeming Our Father in heaven who is a jealous El. Forgetting to esteem Our Father with all our heart, strength and soul in the name of Yashanah Messiah together with our cultures desire to worship false Sabbaths replacing them with Satanic days of worship such as most Sunday's, Halloween, Christmas, Easter and Valentines Day will bring a harsh judgment of fire upon us. These days are pagan created days and those of us who want to be part of the true Messianic faith and a branch in the olive tree must make every effort not to participate in anything that is a pagan celebration or custom. If we are named after pagan entities we should be encouraged to change our name to a name without pagan origans.

Once the Set-Apart Spirit that comes from our Father in the Name of Yashanah Messiah in dwells within the Hekal which is our body we can expect that our love for Elohim will constantly be challenged. These challenges can be rough at times but they are for our our own good and as painful as they can be they are a positive indication that Our Messiah has called on us and that both The Father and Our Messiah want us not only to be delivered from sin but to take on the characteristics of The Messiah in our lives.

Mat 5:23-24 "Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you,24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift. We can only bring gifts to the alter (The Messiah) after we have attempted to reconcile with those we have hurt in the past. We must admit our wrongdoing and request forgiveness as well as assure them we will never, ever harm them in any way again. Once completed, or once an attempt has been made to do so we are "Free Again" to come before The Messiah. Simple lessons which have eternal rewards.

On Sabbatical - Probably for a year writing "Queen Shoshannah - We Never Walk Alone". Essentially we are either trying to walk in Our Savior's footsteps while trying to overcome Satan's deceptions or we are holding hands with the devil. It's true and the truth will set us free but we have to seek the truth. We become overcomer's by becoming truth seekers. If we haven't begun our journey we are dancing with the devil. Those "of this world" are dancing and those who wish to be servants are seeking.

It's a shame but my Christian music may have to be demoted and go the same way as "Disco Demolition Night" went at Comiskey Park in Chicago in 1979. The names of God, Lord and Jesus are making me do it. Sounds crazy when I am a follower and believer in Our Savior and Our Father but something's have to go for the right reasons. We do not want to be "of this world" and the names mentioned above will most likely not be used in the "kingdom to come". Therefore we must ask why are we using them now? Satan knows the answer.
